Can my Uni detect AI?

I have some multiple choice test coming up soon, easy marks lol, in which you can use AI to just distinguish the answers and get 100%.

They sent out some email saying that the questions they’ve written are “usually gotten wrong by AI”, and that it is easy to detect AI usage as your answers would “conform to a particular pattern”.

How the fuck can they even do that, I think they’re chatting the most shit ever lol, but is this even possible.

How can AI not be able to distinguish the answer out of four options, surely that is literally impossible. Secondly how can the answers “conform to a particular pattern”, do they think we are retarded or something? The correct answer is the correct answer, fym particular pattern.

I’m planning on using chat gpt with it, by taking a pic of the question with my phone (answering it on my pc), there is no way they can detect that I’ve taken a picture of it.

The only thing I’ve thought of is if they could check your chat history on Chat GPT, but I use my personal email and chat gpt says they don’t give out info to third parties (such as Unis).

So overall I think they’re full of shit, thoughts?

recently i had similar test but chatgpt was allowed for us and it was also multiple choice, what i did was take ss on my phone about 4-5 ss total 30 questions, i converted it into text and pasted on chatgpt because u need premium on chatgpt to post more than 3 pics,
got full marks.

and for detecting ur pattern and shit thats not possible lol unless it a written paper like if they make u write a whole paragraph or something then we can say so.
