you dont get sunburn or a tan from redlight either, why should it lead to accumulation of melanin in the eyes?
I do redlight since several months and they are as blue-green as before

Blue light seems to "choke" the mitochondria and red light makes it respirate
Fire is on the redlight spectrum for example and computer screen on the blue side

What keeps you awake and what is chilling/soothing? You can also get overstimulated i think
