Growing up with sisters, having female friends from a young age, and working in female-dominated spaces multiple times. I have had plenty of experience seeing how women talk and socialize and try to get their way. You obviously have not. The exchange you described in the OP is obviously playing into your virgin fantasy with 0 subtlety.
