Can someone explain back cams?

Am I just coping? Would a good looking person look good in back cams to themselves either? Genuinely my confidence goes to 0 everytime I see a back cam photo of myself, yet everything else is good including front cam, mirrors, and back cam in the mirror I really just don’t understand but ts destroys my confidence every time
