Is it used for getting tanned skin?
how to use it?
 
It’s a precursor of Vitamin A. It’s found mostly in plants and is the only true source of Vitamin A for vegetarians. Beta carotene is later converted into vitamin A in the intestines.

Carrots and green leafs have high content that could fill up your RDA. Regarding tanning, I cant speak from my medical textbooks.
