Can someone explain to me why Beta Carotene is cope?

I want to be tan and melanotan is a bit pricey for me can't I just take beta carotene surely it will at least make a difference in my overall skin complexion

Get some tanning drops online and put it in your moisturiser and apply to face every night.

Will give you nice natural looking tan.

Eh, I don't want to end up with a splotchy ahh tan like @Clavicular
