Can someone explain why this guys jaw surgery looks so strange to me

Whenever i see a bad result it always makes me slightly paranoid for my BSSO. I cant work out why this result looks so strange:

Is it strange mentolabial fold maybe?...

It's not the jaw, it's the weird skull shape i think or perhaps the eyes/hairstyle. idk

it doesnt look strange he just has a dog shit maxilla, shape, and tiny eyes. The result was good he looks way better u just cant warp genes like that or warp bones to make urself chad with surgery lol.

You mean linear advancement over ccw rotation (posterior downgraft)? Probably not. It would have probably caused a more convex philtrum, made him chimp lipped, and widen his nose even more if it was advanced linearly.

He has massive masseters and a high body-fat percentage, which leads his profile to look overly sharp and defined from the side, with zero facial leanness, making him look uncanny.

his eye to ear length seems very long, does this mean he has a deep set jaw/skull or something like that?

also insane surgery, I would feel so happy if people just started treating me better overnight

possibly, but their cranium depth seems similar, it’s just that the bottom guy has no forward growth or dimorphic features

but idk how to measure cranium depth it’s a very new term for me

I normally look at the distance from the ear to the glabella/forehead/eye as a rough estimate. I think you had it right.

Then why does his jaw surgery result make you worried about your own bsso? First off bsso is only lower jaw surgery and this guy had trimax, second, if you are a different phenotype, why would you think you are going to have similar results as that person? I don't know man... sounds like you are worrying over nothing, and just trying to throw shade at that guys result. You said he looks 60 years old.... like bruh.

I don't think most will agree with you about that being a bad result...

This guy only had bsso, maybe expect to look more like him if you're white.

To be fair I didn't attempt or try to persuade my surgeon to make me "chad". My only request to my surgeon was that I didn't want to look overadvanced, didn't want to look class 3, and I didn't want to look ogre. I think he did the best he could and I'm happy with it.

My bad bro, didnt realise u were on here. Maybe its just me thinking it looked strange. Alot of people did disagree with me, so I could just be wrong. Good luck.

I haven't gotten my haircut by a barber or stylist for 6 years. I've been cutting my own hair with clippers for that long, just didn't see the point before. I'll probably get a haircut in the near future, it might be worth it now.
