can someone explain wisdom teeth extractions to me

Does removing the wisdom teeth make ur jaw worse? My 4 teeth finished growing recently and I would like to know this

People on here will probably tell you it will. Almost every adult who grew up in an affluent/middle-class area has had the extraction. Every guy I know, excluding one or two has had it done.

If you want to take the gamble you can, but it's gonna be a lot more painful/ expensive to get them taken out later if they become infected or cause you issues.

seems like there is no reason to do it unless they are coming in badly and causing you pain. Dentistry is a business and they have every reason to shill expensive and medically harmless tooth extractions on everything that breathes.

I don't see how it could be worse/more expensive waiting to getting them out if you operate as soon as you notice discomfort. It seems like you would probably gradually build up inflammation/pain/infection/ w/e and you could just take the hint right when it starts. This seems like a very marginal price at best.

Well I didn't get my wisdom teeth removed and that decision fucked me up. A big fucking cyst started growing under my wisdom tooth which indeed destroys the mandible. I saw it on x ray, the jaw bone became thin as an egg shell. It isn't that easy to remove that cyst either, and I need bone grafting after that. So, I would recommend to remove that shit as early as you can.

My wisdom teeth gave me an asymmetrical bite and it made my face a little asymmetric
I got them removed now my bite is back to normal and my face is straight
Models literally get their wisdom teeth removed even if they have no problems

Teeth grow. The extraction is before they grow in and start crowding your mouth or fucking up your other teeth. You might need braces, or possibly other complex issues could arise too. It's not as simple as being like "oh now it kinda hurts". At least that's what my Chinese ass ortho told me, and I trust him. I was opposed to it until My grandmother told me how much of a mistake she made not removing hers as a teen.
