Everything is in the title : every times I see good results, its because people had a malocclusion, wich make it easier for the surgeon. But is it possible to archieve any good results if our occlusion is already good?

I don’t see why not. If both jaws are recessed than why would it matter how your teeth are placed.

When I jut both of my jaws forward I really like the result so I think a high LF1 plus BSSO plus genio should be really good for me. Especially for my paranasal hollowing and weak chin.

Yes it is possible. Often times people will have perfect occlusion and a good bite, but this is a result of both jaws being equally recessed. When both jaws are then advanced, aesthetically it lengthens the jawline, creates more convexity in the midface, and functionally it will expand the patient’s airway so they can breathe and sleep easier.

It is very possible although you might need some small orthodontic treatment afterwards to correct minor variations in occlusion.

Very good outcomes if doing custom plates and Invisalign afterwards.

Do you ever recommend an anterior segmental osteomy for only the maxilla to address overjet caused by maxillary hyperplasia? Mandible wouldn't be touched. Ortho telling me invisalign would take 2-3yrs to retract upper teeth after extraction but wondering if I can just do surgical shortcut.

Of course. That's what I am doing, and I have a Class 1 bite.

Why would you want to extract and retract or to extract and cut? That’s a very bad idea, bad for your tongue function and your airway.

Maxila protrudes. I'm getting jaw implant to help balance it out but just wondering if I can reduce the protrusion without compromising airflow. Guess not.

Expand the upper jaw and then have a mandibular surgery to advance the lower jaw

Why the custom plates?
