I mean it depends on how his trip with mushrooms felt like. If his mushrooms trip was similar too this then the simple answer is yes. But normaly it wont feel like Psychedelics ofc cause it ain't. But people get different trips on same stuff so if it felt the same for him on both trips I mean it works for him but generally it wont give you the effect of psychedelics no.

For me amphetamine + weed is fucking crazy,but i don't smoke and when i tried that combo i had 0 tolerance,and i also tripped 3 days before doing that,it probably was more intense than some acid trips i had. But even weed alone for me feels way too fucking crazy idk how people use it to chill. But it won't be like shrooms or acid, it's different but i can see some similarities.
