Is the only way to tell if your hips are wide or not is to get lean. Can your "wide hips" just be love handle fat?

Yes , I thought I had wide hips but it was just horrible fat distribution. I cut and realized that my hips is actually very small

Yes. My hips are wide now but when I was leanmaxxed (still could’ve lost more fat!) my hips looked normal. I was shocked, I remember noticing it for the first time.
Fat in love handles + thighs = wide hips
