Can you get Eyelid Ptosis Correction Surgery before Bimax?

Planning on doing a eyelid Ptosis correction surgery this year, and Bimax with Coceancig in 2024. Is it ok to do the ptosis surgery before Bimax? I heard Bimax will change your eye area too

I would do lower face surgery before upper face.

Bimax pushes your jaw out + face UP in most cases. So your eyes might get a bit more compressed.

It could fix your Ptosis by itself (it is unlikely it will fully fix the issue if it's bad, but it should improve it)

I would say about 4.25psl, I am pretty much normie I really only need to fix eyelid failo and recessed lower and upper jaw, deviated septum

Yeah but I don't see how bimax affects a drooping eyelid, which is what i have. I think it will give more undereye support, but don't affect the eyelids. And I can't fix it without surgery because mine was congenital not acquired ptosis

ptosis is pretty much always caused by a weak orbicularis (eyelid muscle) but all a ccw bimax will do is bring the lower third of the face, forward and upwards - i dont see how a bimax will have any affect on your upper eyelid tbh

It would depend on the extent of the maxillary impaction and ccw rotation advancement. If it’s too small (a relative term for every case) then obviously it won’t be noticeable but it can be.
