Can you get jaw implant after JAW WIDENING SURGERY?

I already had 4-5mm of my jaw widened per side during my bimax through the condyles being rotated outwards.

My jaw is still fairly narrow compared to my cheekbones so I wonder if I can safely get jaw angle implants to widen my jaw an additional 4mm or so?

Or is the risk of it looking uncanny AND masseter dehiscence too high?

yes but the bigger your implant the higher risk of that being unsuccessful, nerve pain, uncanny looks, and all that other bullshit...

On top of 4.5 condyle widening already being done?? Ai says its almost as if id had an 8.5mm implant, the body cannot distiguish and is still being stretched beyond whats natural…

AI isn’t accurate lol.

You can widen jaw with BSSO by only a few mm, and a lot of the time it relapses, so implant will likely be needed.

Well. If you wait for a few more months, I will give my own example, keep in mind that masseter reattachment comes with a lot of swelling that was not there during the first few weeks when the only food was baby food that didn’t require cheweing. If I look at the photos about 10 days post op, it was clear that it did not result in uncanny look despite having about 7-9mm widening on each side. Plus I need to lose some weight lol. But I don’t have strong chewing muscles so they were not big to begin with
