Low IQ

Can't you see how the cheekbones connect to the maxilla smoothly with shallow canine fossae forming a single unit, while deep canine fossae cause inward depressions that create separations between the bottoms of the cheekbones and the maxilla?

Deep is more masculine imo
The problem is You can't see any angularity in Deep. Shallow mogs because v-shape cheeks are visible to the naked eye.

Wouldn’t greater lower maxillary projection give the illusion of having a deeper fossa?

Actually deep canine fossa can cause nasolabial folds I dont think its a good look:

I accidentally forgot to remove the quotes when I responded above:

What are the best interventions to have, in order to correct mild Nasolabial folds long-term?

Fillers<Fat grafts

Kybella injections when this has to do with with resistant fat mounds over the nasolabial folds

Midface lift when it is because of aging but probably a cover up that won’t last long if you are in your 20s or 30s

Jaw advancement surgery will help if the right osteotomies are made and correct V-Y closure is performed

Nasolabial malar fat pad liposuction if, again having to do with resistant fat mounds over the nasolabial fold. For liposuction if this area you need to have a lot of fat here, if you don’t lypolysis injections are best.

Subcision does not work well.

And adding:

If due to a deep canine Fossa, a new way to deal with this is bone augmentation with bone grafts using a Allogenic 50/50 cortical-cancellous bone chips in a PRF membrane graft with cortical punctures for vascularization. This replaces paranasal implants which are also an option but seem too close to alveolar bone for my comfort.

Yes I guess that's why Black people apparently have deeper fossae

Nice observation. @Soalian brought this up in anither thread but I don’t remember in what context. Imo deep canine fossa mogs hard due to looking brutally animalistic. Shaloow looks polished pretty boy tbh. Alain delon for example looks dangerous even though he’s comparatively small.

I don’t understand how it’d make you look bloated.

can u explain why you suspect that’s the case?
Deeper canines mean more space for fat to build up. Making the cheekbones look like potatoes at high bfs also fwrd growth is what prevents sagging of soft tissues .Just an assumption tho. I might be completely wrong

The 2nd type happens when light is above and to the side of you with the shadow being cast by cheekbones forwards and down, the first when the light is above and in front of you, with a shadow being cast by the cheekbones backwards and down. This is my experience when looking in the mirror.

It looks like they moved the parts of the maxilla around the sides of the nose and kept the nose in the same position, no?
I think so. The nose does tend to change shape too but it isn't shown here.
