Inhibition of Glucose by Fatty Acid Oxidation

Essential neither carbohydrates nor fats by themselves cause problems. It is only when the two meet up do bad things happen.

Neither a baked potato nor butter are "unhealthy" foods. But when you combine them they are unhealthy. Carbs and protein(leaner protein sources like turkey, chicken, fish, etc) and fats and protein are fine, but when you combine carbs and fats together you get diabetes. The best food examples of this are cakes, donuts, ice cream, ice cream cakes, milkshakes, and egg nog.

this is the randle cycle but keep in mind the dosing matters how much of each is present at a set time and when they are taken

The randle cycle is why you shouldn't combine them.

Some things have been left out here and the randle cycle is only very roughly correct from a scientific point of view.

Bc the Randle cycle JUST describes the competition between glucose (from carbohydrates) and fatty acids for utilization as a fuel source in the body, regardless of the specific sources of those nutrients. However, the specific sources of those nutrients should change everything, but there are no studies on this in regard to the randle cycle. Eating a burger or drinking raw milk for example.

Imo the randle cycle is only significant for normies who eat unnatural shit. As a carnivore you will never have these problems. The only thing that should cause problems after the randle cycle would be raw milk, since it contains both carbohydrates, in the form of lactose, and fats, but for this there are no studies.

TLDR: Its just a theoretical construct for normie eating behavior. Also other factors such as insulin sensitivity, hormone levels, and overall health also affect the balance of the Randle cycle. It is not a one-size-fits-all explanation for how the body uses energy.
