I always thought cardio was soy nonsense that killed gains, I thought it was only necessary for fat people, but I was wrong. Having your cardiovascular system improve is the greatest feeling in the world, you feel healthier and you don't constantly feel like your body is taking -1hp hits just by sitting around.
Cardio doesn't burn that many calories, half an hour of some intense cycling only burns like 300 calories for me, but burning calories isn't the primary benefit, it's just a bonus. You just feel so much better about yourself and feel more physically capable, just for breathing a little heavier for 30 mins a day. If you don't do cardio, try it and you'll see the potent form of lifefuel that it is.
