We all know high finance, corp law ect pay really well, but you have to work 70hr+ weeks.

Are there any high paying careers, excluding tech, where you can work around 50hrs per week?

Making good money requires crazy hours to be worked. So either you work them, or you pay some one else to work them.

yea look into the engineering field and find some niches some bleed into tech territory but the work life balance is great. example is of an aerospace engineer, those guys get picked up like crazy from military companies

Late reply but the answer is Software sales and software engineering boyo.

Both have 350-500k/y potential within 5-10yrs while only working 40-50hrs/w. Maybe even less for tech sales tbh. I’ve heard dudes in tech sales working 20-30hrs a week making 250k/y. Prob the exception but it’s def possible.

Software engineering is a good path too but tbh it’s getting way more difficult to get a job in that field.

Thank you chat gpt. But all these careers pay a shit salary and require a degree while making you work standard 40 hour weeks.

The dream of a big house with a pool and a truck and a Lambo on the drive sure isn’t happening on 70-80k, at least not before you’re too old for it to matter.
