Got my CBCT 2 months post op after bimax (lefort 1 + bsso) and height reduction / advancement genio

scary shit tbh.

I hope the full wraparound jaw implants will fit right off the get go without any lower border shaving.

Lefort 1 Impaction : 5mm
Genio height reduction : 5mm
Genio advancement: 3mm

I'm getting lefort and reduction genio as well, looks surreal in the after scan
Can you feel the edges of bones sticking out where the chin reduction was made, how does chin look now

On the last image you can see the part that "sticks out". I can feel them.
Since I'm going for implants my hopes are that implants will fix those without the need for shaving and make everything straight

Nice, did you have an underbite pre surgery?
I am hoping my maxilla looks like yours after lefort

Good luck man. Lefort have quite good outcomes typically although it can mess up the upper lip a bit if its a large movement (mainly impaction). I had severe gummy smile that is now fixed.

Im happy of the tradeoff to be honest. Not perfect by FAR but its a good improvement from my terrible starting point. It also greatly improved my quality of life both socially and physically. I breath much better.
