With all the money to be made in tech, there’s actually more and more chads going into the field (kind of like financebros pre 2008), but they mostly do tech consulting or go to management at a FAANG company , coding is reserved for ricecels

higher and more objective and quantifiable standards allow for less halo effect wiggle room where fields with no objective and o nly qualitative standards allow for halo effect to have massive effects on success

engineering/math/etc. belong to the first category; not being able to do math correctly is objectively testable and easily quantifiable, engineering slightly less so but similar, etc.

This is why even chad genetics with the capacity to do mathematics/stem at a high level will tend towards fields in which their halo effect will be maximized and allow them to do less work for higher gains. Look at Pietro: taught before he became a model because teaching is public facing, massively vulnerable to halo effect, and much less objective than most other things you can do with a math degree.

You will see above average/tall men in stem but you will rarely ever see a true chad or gigachad in a position where they are primary or entirely evaluated on objective measures because it would be insane from an incentives perspective for them to ever put themselves in that position.
