NECESSARY:
- about 0.5 liters of water
- 3-4 cinnamon sticks - the most important ingredient, it kills bacteria that are responsible for the unpleasant smell from the mouth
- a spoon of cloves - analgesic and antiseptic effect
- a spoon of xylitol - makes the mouthwash sweet, but also has good anti-caries properties

HOW TO MAKE:
Put the cinnamon and cloves in the water. Cook for 10 minutes. Add xylitol and mix. Drain the contents.

STORAGE:
You can keep the rinse aid prepared in this way in the refrigerator for a few days. For those who care about storage, you can always freeze it in the form of ice cubes and defrost the appropriate amount before use.

Unlike liquids from the store, we do not add unnecessary menthol or eucalyptol, or additional fluorides. There is also no glycerin or alcohol. Remember that this mouthwash is not a substitute for complete oral hygiene. I recommend that you use cinnamon gum frequently, but most of all remember to brush and floss.

That's if you don't brush your teeth. Not if you use this mouthwash.

you shouldn't frequently consume modern sugary foods anyway.

Given that your diet is in check, it should not pose any problem. There is a fine line between the positive effects of treating enamel with fluorides and the negative effects of excess fluoride. Fluoroapatite indeed has a lower Kso value than hydroxyapatite, but it is also important to assess how much you really need it. It mainly comes down to the pH in your mouth, which in turn varies depending on your diet (sugar residues favor the growth of acidifying bacteria in the environment) and the fluids you consume (I think you should increase the amount of fluoride if you consume more than 2 cups a day).
Ideally, you should not need to put fluorides even in your mouthwash.

Unfortunately, money is also a factor. If you can afford a decent mouthwash with scientifically proven effectiveness, good for you. But given that there are much more things you need to spend your pennies on, it's worth to consider cheaper, but good alternatives. What is more, some people tend to skip using mouthwash, because of its 'taste', which is not a concern here.

I use this toothpaste https://ciccarellishop.it/en/pasta-del-capitano-baking-soda-toothpaste-100-ml/, which is inexpensive and does not contain flouride. A grand-grandfather of mine used to brush his teeth with a leaf of sage every day and he died with all his teeth white and in good shape (he was not very old, anyway, since he passed away due to a stroke when he was in his fifties).
