China jaw surgery gone wrong

Chinese woman gets bimax to fix underbite. Original plan was moving the mandible back 2mm, but instead she got +13mm, brutal assymmetry and a deviated septum.

How the fuck is this even possible? What is going on in china?

Also her surgeon told her to "get used to your new face"

It seems like you know a lot about this, but if I have an underbite, an obviously receded upper jaw, TMJ noises, and a longer lower jaw, wouldn't a bimax surgery be the right choice? It's one thing to get bimaxillary surgery just for the sake of it, and another to get it because you really need it.
