So I kinda have a overbite and my ortho told me to wear class 2 elastics but I don't know some say it pulls back the maxila she said it will move my lower jaw foreward and fix my reccesed chin is it worth it my overbite kinds does ruin my apperance

just ask them, stop hiding ur needs from the people who can help you the most. just mention that you wanna keep your bone structure or whatever and ask for other options. its not rocket science

Wear it, elastics don't generate enough force to make a difference on how your maxilla acts. It'll just pull your mandible forward it's better if you wear them.
