Christianity cut off from Judaism the moment that gentiles started becoming baptized. That was the moment it went from apocalyptic Judaism sect —> Christianity.

It was the moment that Jews started rejecting it en masse and it was also the moment that Christianity slowly became unique wherein Jewish traditions/customs all got abandoned and the legalism of Judaism was stripped away entirely.

The law was thrown in the trash. Passover became Easter. Salvation by faith and not by works of the law. Kosher no more. Circumcision? Of the heart and not a physical one. Etc.

But for 80 years now the west has lived in an era where there has been no serious external threat. The result is internal conflict and a general weakening of the population.
