I’m evangelical, but honestly I don’t take it that seriously, and a lot of people my age don’t either, especially in Australia. Religion just doesn’t carry the same weight it used to. On the right wing, barely anyone’s talking about abortion or church attendance anymore. The main issue is migration, reducing it.

I'm not sure. I suppose I grew up under a non-denominational household? Thing is, we never really went to church, my parents are extremely strict when it comes to Christianity and their beliefs yet they don't really partake in any of the traditional denominational things.

It's weird because they could name any bible verse off the top of their head, tell you any story, give pretty convincing reasonings and arguments as to why Christianity is the only real religion, etc. but they don't interact with the church at all because they believe it's mostly corrupt. Which I don't really disagree with.

Orthodox. Although I live in a predominantly Lutheran country, Ive really being connected and fascinated with Orthodoxy. There’s something about the faith, the prayers and the way everything points to Christ that just feels real and alive to me. It helped me come closer to God and it’s become a big part of who I am.

no it's part of the original Lutheran bible and serves as an intermediary between old and new testament. It was the main thing that set luther apart from other Protestants who just didn't like confessional at the time and also the pope

I was born to strongly athiest parents, while I wouldn't call myself a Protestant exactly I would by definion be Protestant based on the conclusions I reach from research and reading scripture. Why did you convert to Orthodoxy over Protestantism? There are some things about it I don't like but I'm open to being convinced of any denomination really

I disagree with them on some points. If you dont know a point i say just ask. Firstly I think limited atonement is the biblical explanation so I hold to it whereas Methodists hold to unlimited atonement. I don't believe in assurance but find it a pretty neutral thing, of course the conditions for salvation are clear but assurance reduces God to a vending machine like most people do when they pray, I can give verses but I don't really argue this issue much because you get pretty niche for it so I don't have much on memory. I am fairly neutral on perfectionism, if you could tell me more about what you believe and the verses I could tell you but I'm not educated enough to say just yet even if I have some thoughts. I also don't believe in the same idea of original sin as you guys I don't think, I believe it is heart posturing away from God and that a being with that heart posture would still be saved if they never sinned because they don't have to pay the price of sin which is death, that is also that there is an age of nescience and all babies go to heaven and also that all animals that obviously don't understand good and evil don't sin and go to heaven
