Chronic sore throat

Has anybody on here had any experience with a chronic sore throat? Ive had it now for almost a year and tried different medications but nothing really works and its really fucking with my motivation and energy.

Ive tried:
-Allergy meds
-Cutting out irritative foods
-Not eating before bed
-Quit using snus
-Currently on esomeprazol to regulate stomach acid because my ENT told me i might be producing too much.

Im also planning to get a tonsillectomy if my current meds dont work, because my ENT told me it might be that aswell

Any thoughts?

yeah just annoying cuz its gonna hurt like a bitch for 1-2 weeks after surgery

ur just not properly if u still have these problems unless ur in the early stage of the diet
but i doubt u really follow him if ur considering other diets

better a week than to deal with it who knows how long, tonsil removal is a really common and not problematic surgery
