Some russian surgeon does limb lenghtening + clavicle lenghtening.

some guy got clavicles from 48 cm(18.9 inch) to 54 cm(21,2 inch)
so it gives a bit more than 2.2 inch bidelt.

as i understood they sew the bone, put the implant and refract it, it takes i think two month for all.

he also does LL.

Costs around 21k usd for each one(it's in roubles so google yourself).

That distraction osteogenesis is a much better system than the simple sliding osteotomy that Eppley (used to) perform and seems to actually give a worthwhile increase too, more than 2x what Eppley could achieve.

Plus with it being distraction the full thickness of the bone will be maintained.

I’d honestly consider that after my face is fixed. $42k is a lot but 2 inches on bidelt would mog.

In fact I might even be able to get LL with those proportions.

Ah yes because the gym apparently widens your clavicles now

There’s a surgeon in Turkey doing clavicle distraction osteogenesis as well. I may have to consider this as my bideltoid is the main thing holding me back after my face.

The only people who really benefit from surgery have rich parents or trust fund.

If you have to go through the whole university STEM pipeline just to get a low paying job like I did, and only get surgeries in your 30s like I am, it’s fairly pointless. But there’s nothing else to do.

21k usd is not much in the US, you could probably save that amount in a year or two

It’s nice to see that there’s a better, safer method out there for framecels than sliding osteotomy.

I have an okay bidelt for someone my height (18 inches at 5’10), but if I ever go down the LL rabbit hole, I’ll probably also get this to match the new height gains. Overall sizing and proportions would get fucked with for sure though, but whatever - I view proportions as marginal when compared to the towering importance of face, height, and frame anyway.

Definitely fixing face + wearing lifts first however. Body osteotomies are extremely cost and time prohibitive, and it’s best to avoid them if you can. If I fully commit, it’ll have to be a project for my very late 20s/early-mid 30s.

You simply have to save up for years and years on end while working an average job. There’s literally no other realistic way around it for people like us.

This.

The idea of fully accepting it’s over is tantalizing, but at least from my pov, there comes a point where you’re on day #1795564 of wageslaving, coming home to the same old copes you always have, and it finally sinks in that if you don’t gamble with surgeries, this current routine will be it for the rest of your life with no hope or reprieve

Shoulder pads may not be an exact substitute for clavicular lengthening same as lifts aren’t an exact substitute for leg lengthening but these things might provide some indication of whether these body osteotomies will actually provide any meaningful improvement in the way people treat you.

Unfortunately there’s no way to “try before you buy” with bimax so I’m just flying blind with that one.

My flight back from Istanbul next year might quite literally be this if I get any complications from OBO :dafuckfeels:
