South Korea was as poor as African nations in the 1960s. Now it's much richer.

I'm not an incel. Despite being a British colony in history, Singapore is one of the best countries on earth. Singaporeans worked hard and made the right decisions.

Also, resources aren't necessary nor sufficient to make a country rich. See Russia, which has a lot of natural resources. Or Singapore, which doesn't have.
