FAANG/MANGO companies are boring imo. Yeah compensation is good but it's more of a cog in a machine type feeling lot of red tap and mega corp grind that I hate. I have been looking out for open position in all these companies.

I mean it's Elon Musk 's company who wouldn't want to work there. Polarizing from the outside but if you want minimal process and willingness to tackle hard problems. This should be on your radar too

7. Decagon

Everyone's trying to build enterprise AI wrappers but these guys are actually solving complex workflow automation. AI agents for customer experience (chat, email, voice, SMS) and solving messy real world problems. very intresting stuff

I've always wanted to work in the low level and go below the abstraction layers. And this is heaven for that. They built a custom container engines and serverless infra so people can spin up GPUs in milliseconds

5. Applied Intuition

1000233185

Physical AI infra for cars, trucks, mining equipment, drones, defense etc. Their company also has many former Google, Microsoft employees and their work is less just another chatbot and more making the systems more intelligent.

4. Cursor

1000233186

AI code editor that basically started the entire vibe coding era. Got bought by elon for 60 Bill. They are also extremely product obsessed and believe in shipping fast which is what I love aswell

3. Anthropic

1000233187

As a Devops engineer this would be a gold mine for my resume because the systems side of training, serving, and evaluating frontier models at their scale is something I've never remotely touched

2. OpenAI

1000233188

No introduction needed. The OG. High stakes research + product at a scale almost no one else can match. The bureaucracy has grown but it is still not that mega corp vibes imo. Being close to the frontier research is also very exciting

Mira Muratiโ€™s post OpenAI company. They are trying to build. AI that perceives and collaborates in real time instead of the usual turn based chatbot. Very early, extremely high caliber team, and very high potential. I would quit my job rn if I got a call from them today

Arkose labs + fingerprint seem like fun jobs. Not just the amount of detail within everything but also ruining the days of people who manage the bypass measures.

Nothings worth working for, if its in a country with taxes

Im not paying 45% of my fucking income to the government

Also you wont get far in life working for someone, youd never be able to save up money for an apartment let alone car

You have to start smth bigger and a better strategy

I feel I am too inexperienced and volatile for that but some day I do want my own startup.
