Everyone's trying to build enterprise AI wrappers but these guys are actually solving complex workflow automation. AI agents for customer experience (chat, email, voice, SMS) and solving messy real world problems. very intresting stuff

I've always wanted to work in the low level and go below the abstraction layers. And this is heaven for that. They built a custom container engines and serverless infra so people can spin up GPUs in milliseconds

5. Applied Intuition

Physical AI infra for cars, trucks, mining equipment, drones, defense etc. Their company also has many former Google, Microsoft employees and their work is less just another chatbot and more making the systems more intelligent.

AI code editor that basically started the entire vibe coding era. Got bought by elon for 60 Bill. They are also extremely product obsessed and believe in shipping fast which is what I love aswell

As a Devops engineer this would be a gold mine for my resume because the systems side of training, serving, and evaluating frontier models at their scale is something I've never remotely touched

No introduction needed. The OG. High stakes research + product at a scale almost no one else can match. The bureaucracy has grown but it is still not that mega corp vibes imo. Being close to the frontier research is also very exciting

Also you wont get far in life working for someone, youd never be able to save up money for an apartment let alone car
