First post in over a year but I would stop by and drop some knowledge I think you guys will appreciate. This will be a complete in-depth guide to everything eye area which is a lot more complex than you probably think.
1. Medial Canthus Positioning
While its common knowledge PCT > NCT, the specific positioning of the canthus's relative to other landmarks on the eye are just as important.
The medial canthus should ideally be located slightly above limbal ring at the bottom of the eye
This is an example from @Lucianga shows that even when attempting to squint fraud to the max, if your medial canthus is too high you will have to squint all the way of to your pupil to get a straight lid, and it looks utterly autistic, and without the squint, the lid would be extremely curved even without any scleral show
Notice how despite this guy having any scleral show, his lid is still very curved and frankly looks like shit, because his medial canthus is nearly at the same level as his pupil, meaning his lid will always be very curved unless he hyper squints like @Lucianga is doing above, which would look even more autistic
Meeks, even with sclera show, has a 10x better looking lower lid compared to the cuck above simply because it has an optimal amount of curvature due to the canthus's position
2. Lateral Canthus Positioning
The ideal height of the lateral canthus for a man, is slightly under the pupil, any less will look bad and anymore will be overly feminizing
Both the first and second eye have their lateral canthus's positioned at the same relative location (aligned with the bottom of the iris) but one has PCT, and one has neutral tilt, because the second eye has a higher set medial canthus compared to the first eye. Even though the difference in medial canthus positioning only differs by around 1.5mm, there is a drastic effect on the curvature of the lower lid, and the overall tilt of the eye.
3. Curvature and Positioning of the Lower Lid
While we just established the curvature is dependent on the canthus's positioning; is is also dictated by the laxity/tightness of the canthal tendons.
Ideally the canthal tendon should be straight or mildly curved downwards for about 65% of the eye width starting from the medial canthus, and the last 35% it should curve upwards to meet the lateral canthus
Having a little downward curve in the first 65% is ideal, and having a gentle upslope towards the lateral canthus such as Meeks
Having the main portion of the lid too straight with too sharp of an angle will look uncanny and reptilians like, and is one of the reasons De Poot's eyes are so unappealing irl as it is too angular
Having eyes that begin to curve upwards too soon in the lower lid looks feminine, as it lacks any angularity as it causes a gradual upswing of the lid to meet in the canthus, compared to an ideal relatively straight portion followed up with an angled portion to upswing and meet the lateral canthus
The lower lid should ideally be aligned with the limbal ring, however in some cases like Meeks, having minor scleral show can harmonize well, trying to fraud hunter eyes through squintmaxxing past simply eliminating your scleral show will look uncanny because small eyes needs to be achieved by a small upper eye height, not lower eye height.
Despite on paper having a very good eye width to height ratio, he looks utterly autistic because his lower lid is just way too elevated while the iris above the pupil is still very exposed making it look uncanny.
4. Upper Iris Exposure + Hooding
The amount of iris above the pupil is one of the main factors in determining if an eye is "high trust" or hunter (as well as eyebrows and hooding)
There is an ongoing debate on which is an ideal, but generally I would say that for attracting women, having moderate upper iris exposure is ideal, having too little is what gets rated high PSL, and having a lot of exposure is high trust, and can cause cuck eyes if also combined with another feature I will talk about next.
Cavill's eyes are an example of medium levels of upper iris exposure and would be what I consider ideal (Chico does as well when not squinting, and Meeks does as well)
Having too much exposure looks high trust, and can cause "cuck" eyes if combined with another trait I will discuss next
Notice how the difference between those two eyes is probably only a single mm of upper eye height (as well as lower lid height), but they look drastically different
Too little upper iris exposure
While having too little exposure is always preferable to too much exposure, something like Cavill's or Chico's would be ideal.
Hooding hide the curvature present in the upper eyelid, and making it look very straight and angular if there is excessive hooding, combine this with a very angular lower lid, and you will look extremely uncanny, similar to de poot, as he has both extremely angular lower lid + upper lid caused by the hooding.
Hooding can still look good, it just has to be paired with softer features of the eye area to prevent it from becoming too alien-like.
Hooding similar to Chico's or slightly less is imo ideal for appeal as it keeps the lashes visible, and still shows the curvature of the upper lid, but excessive hooding like Gandy's may be preferable if it harmonizes well.
5. PFL
Higher PFL is probably always better in 99% of people, but that is water. The point that I will add is that some people can get away with low PFL, and in others low PFL will completely destroy the eye area entirely.
For people with vertically narrow eyes, low PFL is acceptable (although unideal), because they can still maintain an eye width to height ratio of around 3, making the eye still appear much more horizontal than it does vertical.
Even with shitty PFL, Hemsworth still has good eyes simply because his eyes are still narrow; a good width to height ratio is still maintained, while someone with a very high trust eye, with a low PFL, the eye width to height ratio will be near 2 instead of 3, and look extremely cuck like
While having higher trust eyes is fine, you must have PFL to back it up to maintain a good width to height ratio
Cavill's eye here actually has the same upper iris exposure here as black ops 2 cel, but because he has the PFL to back it up, it doesn't look like a rounded cuck eye (as well as way better hooding, eyebrows, and coloring).
6. Skeletal protrusion
The combination of the protrusion of your supraorbital ridge in tandem with your infraorbital and lateral orbital rims determine if your eyes look either deep set or buggy, this is water so no point really elaborating on this further
6. Coloring
Another part that is water
Light blue > Light green > Medium Blue > Medium Green > Dark Green > Dark Blue > Light Brown > Dark brown
Having a prominent limbal ring which contrasts from your eye color is important too
