No man retin A and beta carotene is legit lol

Removing moles and being 10% bodyfat is great
But those makes minor changes you want surgery to see the ascension

BF% can be more ascension than anything else and is sort of a prerequisite. I'm already avg, not recessed and haven't gotten lean so there's some hope there for sure

RLT is legit, lots of studies
Straight proportionate teeth are extremely important as well, bad teeth can be a huge failo. One I had most of my life

0.05% Tretinoin

Red Light Therapy
I have been using tretinoin. Hands down, the best product I ever used for: skin smoothening and deminishing wrinkles.
For 10 months now.
Aroung eyes, wrinkes start developing already last years.
So I also used Tretinoin aroung the eyes erea.

These last 10 months I did develop around the eyes, more hollowness and dark circle also. Then before. I already had a little bit, but it seems to have progressed quicker. Could be due to aging only, hard to say the causes. BUT

Then I came across this. Where is states that retinA might shrink face fat, for some people. Which can be good thing or a bad thing, dependant on your face.Maybe I am one of those people that also was subsebtical to that.

For me it not good to lose face fat in that eye erea, nor cheeckbones area. I need volume there.
So I'll stop now using retinA there. Forehead for me still a good place, as well as the whole neck.
I'll aim to get it filled with Hylaronic acid, to get more volume there again.

Then I thought.
Damn.
Muh Collagen. How I gonna get collagen for around my eyes, for non wrinkled skin to stay?
Red light Therapy, is a great Collagen MAxxer, it says. So I'm on that since 1 week now. Hope it works well.

Info says:
RetinA -> Collagen +80% collagen
Red light Therapy after 5 hours (15 minutes each day) -> (4.6ug/ml -> 36.36ug/ml) THUS +690% collagen
Add in Dermarolling -> 400% collagen
Thus without RetinA, one should be able to Colagen maxx enough also IF you can't or don't wanna take the face-fat loss it might give you.

You can make topical finasteride by stamping a pill and mixing it with stemoxydine and just apply it to your scalp tbh.

Well, are you sure topical retin A has any effect on fat? Those studies in that scaremongering thread seem to talk about orally ingested retin a. I just don’t believe it because then you could rub it on your stomach and get a thinner waist. Makes no sense to me

I am ot sure at all. Very unsure actually. Because I'm aging also. So I can't pinpoint cause.

Maybe. Maybe not.

I couldn't find much about it, from actual studies. But it is also not studied much, so that doesn't help either.
I'm though taking the safe route myself atm. At least I wanna experiment it on myself. Because I can't lose more fat in those places; and this way I can maybe see if I see change happening or not if I stop for a while with retinA around the eyes and cheecks. .AlsoI use retin-A for collagen, which I can compensate in other ways (especially the red-light), so I'll replace it with that for now .

This is all I found.
I guess retinoids are used sometimes in slimming, celluclite creams. I dunno if it's for tightening the skin, so fat appears less, or actual reduction of fat.
https://patents.google.com/patent/US5051449A/en

" A firmer, thicker and healthier dermis achieved by applying retinoids in accordance with the present invention inhibits the mobility of easily compressible fat locules, limiting their projection from the subcutaneous fat layer into the overlying dermis."

"Moreover, a moderate inflammatory reaction in the fibrous septaedividing the fat compartments of the subcutaneous tissue was eliminated on the retinoic acid side. Fibrosis (scarring) was also reduced. "

"Moreover, ultrasound indicated that fat locules did not project as deeply into the dermis, indicating that these projections were contained by the firmer connective tissue. "

Actually. Now I just read this above!.

It seems, it'n not that the fat goes away or becomes less or anything.
But. The fat cels outher layer becomes "stronger" making it more compact. And, the layers above the fat, become more compact and stronger, so the fat cells can't push them upwards so much and gove the pressence of volume.

I'm not 100% sure if I read that correctly. But that's how above quote soundeed to me.

Curious about your LASIK btw. Did you get 20/20 vision? What was your vision before you had it? Last time I got glasses I was at around -2 (dioptre). Probably at -3 at this point though.

I think one problem with my vision is that it's still constantly changing. Does that make me a bad LASIK candidate? If I change glasses after a couple years, it's like a world difference.

Was that the case with you as well or was it really consistent for a while? Very little if no reduction, even after 2+ years, etc.

Add in stool testing for bacteria types in your gut and 2x yearly blood lipid testing for everything w/supplement optimisation to keep you in ideal health ranges for everything

Why do you have to remind us? I don't want to think about it. And even if I will never be chad every 1/10 of a PSL point helps with getting treated better.

I heard that for stool testing it wouldn't be useful data unless you did it constantly and had reference points or something

Not as much hard science/data on it at the moment I think

you can get a reference point for the future & get a general idea of how bad your situation is, then work towards improving it
