tbf it gets to a point where u gotta do what u enjoy a bit too and personally the feel to bulking is pretty nice if I did full science based lifting id hate the gymIMO it is. Maintence provides enough for maximum hypertrophy. While 300 is small yes, over time this will lead to fat accumulation. If u have no problem with this , go for it. In terms of hypertrophy tho, no need, there’s no evidence supporting that a surplus is needed for hypertrophy
