ussr was corrupt but where communism actually worked sort of was cuba, one of the most successful countries with the one of the highest rates of literacy and more, it was more socialist than communist, and im no communist myself but i do like the idea of a moneyless, classeless and stateless society, sounds like heaven

Communism is not a state of affairs to be established, it is the real movement which abolishes the present state of things. There has never been a communist society, Cuba, USSR, maoist China,... Didn't even call themselves communist, they were all socialist and recognize that. Their end goal however was communism, that does not make the country communist. Cuba is a shit place because of an American blockade strangling the cuban people, you cannot develop if you're isolated, and thats not communism's fault that the fault of American imperialism
