tell them that suicide is a permanent solution to temporary problems, and everything will be worse for the people around them and the people that love them if they do proceed to kill themselves. the only valid reason for one to kill themselves is if they have some sort of chronic pain that they can’t financially keep up with, or something terminal

idk i have never been able to comfort anyone i genuinly stopped feeling empathy for others feelings if it doesnt affect me after something traumatic a few years ago so people i still love such as my mother will cry infront of me and i just kinda look at her and offer her a awkward hug cuz idk what to do its very awkward
