When it comes to Mixed Martial Arts, alot of "GOATs" come to mind. George St. Pierre, Jon Jones, Habib Nurmahomedov, Islam Makhachev, Anderson Silva, ect.
But for this to be an objective competition, we all have to look at what a GOAT should be.
In my personal opinion, a GOAT must be, above all:

Great. Now, what  is greatness?

Well, by definition, straight from Google:

"Greatness is the quality of being exceptionally distinguished, eminent or superior. It applies to individuals, achievements, or concepts that stand out due to outstanding importance, massive scale, or profound impact on others."

First off, three terms stand infront of us that define it.

Distinguished.
Eminent.
Superior.

now, we must define these terms.

Distinguished:
Generally means to be widely known, respected, and admired for excellence or outstanding achievements.

Eminent (adjective):
Describes someone who is famous, respected, or important within a specific profession or field.

Superior:
generally means higher in rank, quality, or position. It can be an adjective describing something excellent or an attitude of being better than others, or a noun referring to someone in a higher position."

Doesn't That Sound Familiar?

just took a lil peak at what you said and this shit is 100% ai generated faggot

Arguments against him being the MMA GOAT:
His UFC record after 2016 is relatively weak compared with other all-time greats.
He never defended a UFC title successfully.
Fighters like Georges St-Pierre, Jon Jones, Khabib Nurmagomedov, and Demetrious Johnson have stronger championship résumés in terms of title defenses, longevity, or dominance.
His peak at the very top was shorter than some other GOAT candidates.

So most hardcore MMA fans would put McGregor in the conversation for most influential or biggest star, but not #1 all-time as a fighter. The GOAT debate usually centers more around Jones, GSP, Khabib, or Demetrious Johnson.

By that time he achieved all that he wanted, was just taking money fights after that

is mcgregor doesnt chin holloway within the first 7 minutes holloway wins since max is active and its a 5 rounder

mcgregor doesnt have a long enough camp to combat his 5 years of inactivity in terms of cardio

max wins

If he fought Khabib in his prime, he would have knocked him out

True
I believe He'll gas out near the end of the first round, and if he hasn't done enough damage to Holloway by then he loses
Plus Max's Chin is deteriorating after the recent fights and his losing skit to Olivera

oliveria took him to the ground lmao max suffered 0 damage in that fight

max has one of the best chins in the sport lmao, hes one of the only people to go 3 rounds with topuria

i doubt mcgregor does any damage

Topuria knocked him out in one clean shot after a sequence of Ilia chasing him down along the cage
McGregor arguably is more powerful than Topuria (and not even a strong argument against it)
And a large sum of McGregor's knockouts come alongside the cage. Plus, Holloway isn't known to be the best at checking leg kicks. McGregor could hunt for his legs like he did to Diaz
