Pretty much every thread I read about it people are fighting about which form is better, MK-4 or MK-7.

Can someone explain the reason one would be better than the other?

Only depends on your expectations from it, and I've seen non-shitposters advocating for it.
you cant expect anything for it
lifestye/or looks wise

Would you say the same for D3 then? Recently I tested my blood for D25 levels and it was below the normal range (due to quarantine), so I started taking D3 and from what I know it's wise to take K2 with it.

I mean what are you trying to get from it?
you need both forms tbh
200mcg k2 mk7 all-trans and 1000mcg k2 mk4 daily, split the latter up into three intervals at mealtimes preferably

Those are the evidence based doses, mk4 I'd say is more necessary though

Vitamin k2 is only good for long term bone growth u would have to take it at a young age to notice and skeletal benefits, after puberty its only good for ur cardiovascular health in other words only good for healthmaxxing. Vitamin k2 does not have many studies on it and doctors are just realizing its benefits

if you have a d3 deficiency then you should supplement, and you're taking k2 to prevent/reverse arterial calcification?
200mcg k2 mk7 a day and it MUST be taken with fat & be all trans form, useless otherwise.
you probably don't need it tbh, try to fix your diet and lifestyle

Pretty much just healthmaxxing, wouldn't probably see any difference from it alone but since I'll be doing other stuff it could add up, and some evidence for bone growth is a plus even though I wouldn't expect noticeable changes. And MK-4 seems so hard to find. Thanks!

Facial bones keep changing, one of the objectives would be to support whatever changes are to come. Also, what do you think about its usage recommendation if you're taking D3?

Pretty much, yes. And I don't really plan to go on the sun without sunscreen that much if that's what you imply on lifestyle changes. Do you think eating plenty of broccoli would be enough then to counter act the calcification that might occur? I take 4000 UI daily of D3 and sometimes 8000 cuz why not.

Bro i have read anecdotes of people saying their zygos got wider but i wouldnt count on that. K2 mainly helps ur cardiovascular system by preventing arterial calcification. Im medical student so im not just spewing bullshit and u can trust wat i say

At the end it will be down to your genetics. If you had almost no k2 during puberty then you might have hope. Might aswell try even if it is cope

I guess it'd be one of the things to add later on when I have money to spare then, unless it's needed since I'm supplementing D3?

Why?

Only if you have deficiency. Otherwise cope.

idk remember ngl but i saw a thread where there was a study where a subject took a megadose of 15mg 3 times a day and saw increase bone remodelling. Hence why i will use if with my mse + face mask

Nice, since the dosages were in mg it was MK-4, right? Also, even though most users here say it's cope, I actually think it can be somewhat helpful since I've experienced changes from mewing for example and if we assume that's true then there's no reason K2 couldn't help even if little with it. Just have to know which form provides the usual benefits of cardiovascular health and bone remodelling.

yes mk-4 but mewing is cope and wont do anything past the age of 9. If u want forward growth look into mse + facepulling

The palate does expand (and I really think it can affect other facial bones) when you mew, and even after like only 2 days I can see a difference (not anymore but once when I had stopped doing it and went back into doing it). Perhaps it's only the posture difference.

But even this guy who had MSE done thinks mewing is not cope.

And I'll probably read more into facepulling later, even though I'm satisfied with my bones.

If you have a D3 deficiency please take D3 it’s not a cope at all
For people who correct their lack of D3 gain around up to 40% of testosterone
It’s also responsible for dopamine related stuff and metabolic functions plus transportation of calcium
Whether it’s gonna give you chad jaw or not I don’t know but it’s good for your health

Yeah I'm taking it currently, 4000 IU everyday and sometimes 8000 IU.

My testosterone was almost at the higher limit of the natural range according to the test I got even though my D25 levels were below the minimum of the normal range.

What do you think about K2 though?

What ethnicity are you?
If you’re white 5k is good
If you’re not white take more

k2 is necessary for avoiding blood clots and making sure that the calcium goes to your bones instead of your blood
So it would help bone density but I don’t personally know how much it will help with the whole mewing growing bones thing but it’s worth taking anyway so take it

D3 makes a huge impact on your health if you really are deficient
Takes a few months to reverse damage so it only gets better
