Alright so this is my first guide so imma just lay out the things needed and expand on them. So the things when buying contacts you gotta take into consideration are size, use, color/skin color, designs.
Size: If you want a normal sized lens then opt for the 14.0 or 14.2 diameter option (the size will be listed when viewing the item). However they do have some bigger options to help with scleral show but they might end up looking weird if your eye shape isn't wide enough.
Use: Use is pretty simple and is something you should consider when on a budget. My lens are bi annually and I paid 10$ for them, while there are also monthly lens for 60$. I haven’t found any issues with my 10$ lens and they are comfortable.
Color/ skin color: LET ME SAY THIS, IF YOU GET BLUE CONTACTS THEY WILL NOT LOOK BLUE IF YOU HAVE BROWN EYES. One thing which u guys forgot to take into account is that the lens sits on your iris which is usually a different color so the colors blend and create a new color. That however doesn’t mean you can’t have blue lens, it just means you gotta pick a blue lens which is solid enough to not let your natural iris color blend with the lens. Another thing you gotta understand is that a blue lens or a hazel lens comes in all different shades so make sure to get several ones to see which one suits you ( it's all trial error to see what you like).
Designs: Some lens comes with glitter or shiny specks or even custom limbal rings. When you are looking at the item, inspect it closely to see how the color looks. There are some lens which have limbals rings which are orange and look like u smoke 5 packs a day but u cant tell unless u zoom in on the image.
