Hi, I'd like to hear your opinion on whether braces will help correct my chewing muscle asymmetry (the asymmetry is quite slight). I'm 15 years old. I have slightly crowded teeth, and one of my upper chewing teeth seems to be protruding inward from the jaw arch (there's not enough space for it). I believe this is at least one of the causes of my asymmetry, as the cheek opposite this tooth is slightly larger than the other (hypertrophic).
I should also add that I have an underbite (deep bite). I'm also considering correcting this. Could you share your opinion on whether braces will help correct this asymmetry?

Do you have an mse, if not talk to your orthodontist and see if you can get one or if it will be right for your scenario. Also braces might help if they do them right.

I apologize for not immediately understanding what you were talking about. I'm having my upper jaw expanded, but first, they'll remove my premolears anyway.

I suggest you try to look for other options before you let them take your premolars. But if all fails and that will help then let them take them. Also no need to apologize it's all good
