Could inhibition of fgfr3 lead to appositional growth within facial bones?

Ive been researching and the science is confusing.
On paper, you would think that because fgfr3 is turned off, the bones could grow (appositional) due to this. However, the literature argues that the survival and longevity of the chrondocyte (in the mandible for example) follow fgfr2-3 expression

maybe look into parathyroid hormone related pharmaceuticals
