Could just use dumbbells but this machine which only one gym Ive been in has, is SICK for widening your frame

There are benefits to using a machine over cables and dumbells in some respects. I believe this is one of those instances. At least in my experience I grew a lot in my lateral delts from using this at the gym in Soho, Piccadilly, Third Space.

I can imagine this machine stresses your joints less since it's machine supported, tends to be the case with other machines i.e smith.

Yes. Fly machine the same.

Machines have their benefits. Avoiding injury is a massive one.

Machines are GOAT in general for aesthetics/getting jacked. All a muscle knows is failure, and whether you use a barbell or a machine, it doesn't matter as long as you push that muscle until it cant grind another rep.
