Averagr height in curryland is 5'5 for men. If you start looking at Punjab urban areas, it becomes 5'7-5'8.

STUDY
Now the funny thing is that the caste I am from is strictly vegetarian. The first time I ate meat was when I was 16. But we have almost 0% lactose intolerance in our family. Also, my state has mediocore average height stats compared to Punjabi and Haryanvi populations.
Yet in my age group, I am the shortest family male member at 176cm. I havent yet seen a man in my age cohort in my extended family that is shorter than me. All of them are around 177 to 185cm. None of them are meat eaters btw.
