I am not saying it does for everyone but for me it does. I tried taking it many times over years and always monitored everything (stress, other factors etc).
I can confirm that for ME it does cause shedding.
Just posting this so you can be more cautious if u take creatine and maybe keep track of the haircount.

I am certain. As I said i kept track of every other factor in my life and started and stopped creatine many times.

Are u taking anything else?
Not anymore. I was on finasteride but I am a nonresponder sadly. I also was on creatine during that time and shedded the same I do now that i started creatine again off fin. I also had tried creatine before fin many times.

It raises DHT very slightly according to that one study, but it was barely statistically significant at all.

Why not just take a 5 alpha reductase inhibitor? DHT is worthless after puberty.

idk, i thought that too at first, started receding my sides slowly at 16 while on creatine, when i hopped off it seemed to have stopped
now im 18 and my sides stopped getting pushed back after being on creatine for well over 1 month again
most likely just your hairline maturing or genetics not creatine

They are actually many other specials ways that can advance the pathogenesis of androgenetic alopecia

Maybe creatine activate those ways (?)

Besides that point, creatine like other “sport” supplements is garbage
