Once you are taller and are in the recovery process with a sort of abnormal gait it becomes pretty hard to hide the fact you got LL.
Why would you want to hide this fact?
Well there is the stigma behind the surgery as well as the costs which some would rather lie about where the money went. It is also unattractive to seem like you had to work hard for something. Same reason why fake natty's have been a very popular thing, makes their accomplishments look better.
In my opinion these are the best methods to build a good narrative or excuse as to why you are taller, why you have some scarring, and why you walk a little weird temporarily (you will likely be back to normal gait after year or two).
1.) Height fraud progressively leading up to the surgery. Then after surgery wear only barefoot shoes. People in general will not be able to point out small increments of height gain. Then incorporate height frauding again incrementally. Same reason as to why you only notice the grass on the lawn being too tall once it gets to a certain level but you don't notice it while it is growing.
2.) Tell people the scars are due to a mountain biking accident, car accident, motorcycle accident etc. They will likely not keep insisting about details. Same excuse can be used for the irregular gait. If for whatever reason the irregular gait persists, just say you are still waiting for a follow up due to the accident.
3.) Once people do notice and say "Wow you are tall now wtf" The best excuses here are to say you have been incorporating weighted dead hangs into your routine and have been able to get a couple CM of spinal decompression. You can also take a pic of those weird spinal decompression machines and say you used it consistently. You can also say you have been seeing a chiropractor and that has helped. You can also say it is "probably just the shoes tbh".
For your mental sanity it is best to still have some people close to you know the truth and make sure they can be your support system.
To change the narrative of the actual months away doing the surgery + initial recovery it will be harder so it is genuinely better just to LARP about some social media detox or some gay shit like that.
Anyone who has actually undergone this procedure, would appreciate some input on your side of this.
