Crispr at the moment is only effective on embryos. But forecasts eliciting a sort of permanence to this are choosing to ignore reality. The problem is not the delivery of CRISPR to millions of cells, but the logistics. A virus can be formed to prefer you as a host, and inject material into your cells. This is already being experimented on in labs. What this would look like to you is a gradual change in your body as "infection" takes place.
