I stopped using shampoo 5 months ago. Now, I just wash with warm to hot water daily after the gym (my hair's porosity is different so dont muhhh hot water is bad). Occasionally shampoo after a barber puts some random shit in my hair. Noticed it's healthier, stronger, and curls are more defined. No frizz, especially in the morning.

I have 3c hair.

Every other day use a good hair conditioner when washing your hair.

In the morning, get your hair like 75-80% wet and use a wide tooth comb to style it out.

Apply la looks hair gel then use a diffuser blow dryer to dry it until ur curls are fully “crunchy/hard.”

Use a t shirt to scrunch out the gel cast and use ur fingers or a pick to style it (or just have ur head for a natural look)

What I do is I wash my hair once with shampoo and hairdry it straight (tiktok fringe flipped up kinda style) and apply conditioner. Leave it like this for days. It'll get oilier and better as they days progress. If it starts smelling wash it hp with hot water.
You don't even have to use conditioner. Not shampooing IS a conditioner

Leave in conditioner
Reduce shampoo frequency
Use shampoos and conditioners that aren't harsh

No poo, make sure when you do no poo you are doing “mechanical cleaning” , aka massaging ur scalp and making sure its clean, don't use hot water and only brush hair when its wet in the shower, use silk/satin pillowcases, don’t go to sleep with wet hair, stay hydrated…hope this helps God bless.
