Five people, including four children, were killed with knives this Saturday in Seine-Saint-Denis, inside a pavilion. The alleged perpetrator is said to be a family member.
It was in a small unpretentious suburban pavilion, on the edge of an SNCF site in Noisy-le-Sec (Seine-Saint-Denis), that this Saturday morning, around 11 a.m. which is akin to a real family drama involving ten people of Sri Lankan origin. Five of them - including an 18-month-old baby and three children aged 5, 5 and 9 - were stabbed to death.
According to a source, the alleged perpetrator attacked his relatives with a knife and hammer. He is now in a coma after trying to end his life. “It was a close-knit family, the parents, the uncle, the aunt… They were together all the time. We do not understand what could have happened ”, testifies a member of the local Tamil community.
