1. KNOWING HAIR TYPE & THICKNESS
THICKNESS

THICKNESS
1774

If you correlate with sub 110% you shouldn't cut volume or bulk out since your hair is low on both of those
If you over 120%. You are genetically superior and should only cut volume and weight out of your hair when it's too long and can't hold its shape
If you are above 150%. You NEED to cut volume and weight of your hair every time you can't style it or maintain volume.
HAIR TYPE
1775

FINDING YOUR HAIR TYPE
To find your hair type you need to get a hair strand and hold it at an angle you can see it and find you re hair type
IMPORTANT
Not every hair strand on your head is the same.Best time to find your hair type is to shower towel dry gently then blow dry (low heat) your hair while holding your hair down and scrunching.
ONLY CUT YOUR HAIR WHILE ITS DRY OR YOU WILL FUCK UP

1 STRAIGHT HAIR (1A-1C)
This hair type is the most common one and it is the one with the most complaints. Main complaints that we hear about straight hair is that it get oily very quickly and that it is hard to style on men since It has no hold or texture or wave.
STYLING STRAIGHT HAIR
Best Products for it are texture powder(high hold no shine)
Clay(medium hold medium shine) and pomade(medium hold high shine)
If you want fluffy texturized hair you use texture powder;Sprinkle a bit all over your hair then scrunch it very gently after that lift your hair and apply it to your root for hold and volume.

If you want texturized hair but don't want it fluffy then use clay;on dry hair start by putting a coin sized amount in your hand then start rubbing your hands together getting it all over your hands then proceed to put your hair down and start scrunching it in your hair everywhere you want high hold medium shine)

If you want a classy slick back use pomade; On wet hair blow your hair into a slick back then put a coin sized amount of pomade in your hand then rub it and distribute evenly while pushing your hair back.
CUTTING LAYERS INTO YOUR HAIR
Cutting layers into your hair means that you grab a section of your hair vertically meaning your hair sections should stand up like a mohawk then cut a little bit till it's good for your preference

CUTTING STRAIGHT HAIR
After drying your hair you get a comb and scissors then start cutting layers everywhere I will leave a link for a quick tutorial below:

STYLING WAVY HAIR
Products for wavy hair are mainly sea salt spray and clay
DIFFUSER NEEDED
Do the same thing with the sea salt spray as your clay on wet hair diffuse your hair with a blow dryer while holding your head down then apply the clay

CUTTING WAVY HAIR & CURLY HAIR

Wavy hair and curly hair are cut the same with layers and cut a mod cut for both since it is the best one for these type of hair ONLY if your face shape matches the one for a modcut

1777

Modcuts work for a tall skull mainly.

STYLING CURLY & COILY HAIR

Styling curly and coily hair is the same since both are getting oily very slowly especially coily since the hair oil has to bend along the curl of the hair strand. That's why most curly hair people you see that aren't maintaining it and hydrating it properly are having a lot of frizz and dry hair
For curly and coily hair you need mainly a leave in conditioner and a curl cream.
Apply leave in conditioner to clean soaking wet or damp hair first to hydrate, followed by curl cream to define and seal. Use the "praying hands" method (smoothing palms together) or raking to distribute products from mid-lengths to ends, avoiding roots.

CUTTING COILY HAIR

Cutting coily hair is best done dry bcs it can spring back alot if done when wet it will lead to cutting longer than needed and remaining with short faggot hair

2.SHAMPOO & CONDITIONER
You should only use sulfate shampoos only once a month.Always use sulfate and mainly natural shampoos and conditioners
Only do shampoo and condition after 2 days have passed since you last styled your hair .
For straight hair you should shampoo and condition every 2 days.
For wavy hair you should shampoo and condition every 3 days
For curly and coily hair shampoo and conditioner every 4-5 days
The reason we don't shampoo after we use products since this will lead to product waste and if you keep reapplying products your final result will be better.

3. LOSING HAIR IS NORMAL
Losing hair is normal IF it's in the 50-100 hair strand range
That means if you don't wash your hair once the next time your hair will come out more so don't you worry.
If you lose literal clumps of hair when you shower I'm truly sorry for you but the Norwood reaper is on its way.

Never cut your hair
That's for slaves
Slaves hair were cut short since they weren't free
And having long hair meant you had freedom to do whatever you want
