Dextroamphetamine is a blessing from God above
I am going to write about how this substance works, why it’s needed and so on, mostly for my own memory retention.
Btw I’m high on amphetamines as we speak so I’m writing this from a cracked out perspective.

Why amphetamines?
Amphetamines, mostly prescribed for ADHD are a medication prescribed to treat the overall reabsorption of dopamine and norepinephrine in the brain…
A neurotypical produces dopamine and norepinephrine, which are reabsorbed at normal rates by dopamine transporter and norepinephrine transporter proteins….
Dopamine is produced in the midbrain, specifically the ventral tegmental area.. released into the prefrontal cortex for function and cognition..
The neurodivergent produces dopamine and norepinephrine normally, however the distinction occurs in the presence of proteins, dopamine transporter and norepinephrine transporter. Which are dedicated to reabsorbing dopamine and norepinephrine..
Due to their increased presence in the Neurodivergent brain, the patient will feel poor cognitive symptoms such as lack of motivation, and inability to concentrate on low reward activities, which is most daily tasks.. their brain, or our brain I should say lacks the push and chemicals necessary for pleasure, and satisfaction. Which is why adhd people always look for pleasure, etc.. these chemicals are not in our brain at a normal rate.
This is when Adderall comes in. Adderall key ingredient: Dextroamphetamine is responsible for removing these reabsoption proteins in the brain.. it is different from Methamphetamine(street meth), due to its difference in structure, lacking in the extra methyl group of molecules that methamphetamine has. It is also less lypophilloc(meaning Adderall is absorbed slower than the brain because it is more water attracting)…
I’m specifically on vyvanse, the pussified version of Adderall.. simply due to its slower absorption. But the function of both medications is intimately the same, with the only differences occurring during absorption.
Adderall due to its purely dextroamphetamine state, is absorbed within 15 minutes. Vyvanse, is combined in pill form with key amino acid L-Lysine… this is absorbed into the intestine after oral use, and absorbed into the blood stream. Enzymes break down the substance, removing the essential amino acid L Lysine, rendering dextroamphetamine a solitary substance in the blood stream in pure form. Just like adderall, but with an extra step..
Upon breach of the blood brain barrier with its naturally brain tissue attracting amphetamine salts.. upon entry to the prefrontal cortex, amphetamines mimic dopamine and norepinephrine, which essentially trick reabsorption proteins into doing their job.. effectively the substance is getting rid of excess dopamine transporter and norepinephrine transporter.. rendering the actual dopamine and norepinephrine with an ability to remain the the synapse… the affects are felt within 2hours of vyvanse and last up to 16hes
