but you have deep trauma from not eating cake yesterday, when everyone was eating it. You could only stare at them while they eat.Irrelevant, since we always live in the present.
I don't care about having eaten a good cake yesterday, I am looking forward to eating a good cake today, or tomorrow.
what if there is no cake for today and tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow.............................Irrelevant, since we always live in the present.

Bad analogy because teen love can’t be experienced tomorrow. It’s gone forever after you are an adultI don't care about having eaten a good cake yesterday, I am looking forward to eating a good cake today, or tomorrow.

I don't really care as long as I can get cake today or tomorrow.but you have deep trauma from not eating cake yesterday, when everyone was eating it. You could only stare at them while they eat.
That's a whole different ordeal. But having eaten cake yesterday doesn't change the fact you're not eating cake today or tomorrow; you're still gonna starve all the same.what if there is no cake for today and tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow.............................
Yes, but it's still gone even if you've experienced it. What good is an incredibly good cake if you can only eat it once and never eat it again in your life? I'm interested in pleasures that are tangible and lasting, that I can savour for a long time, and savour again and again.Bad analogy because teen love can’t be experienced tomorrow. I think most here don’t just care about the pleasure you missed out but also about the influence not experiencing teen love has on your whole life, development, personality/behaviour etc.Yes, but it's still gone even if you've experienced it. Ultimately, my point is this: you are always immersed in the Present. Thinking about the past doesn't do you any good.
If there was something really good in your past that you can never experience again, it will only frustrate you to think about it.
If there was something really good in your past that you will never get to experience, it will likewise just frustrate you.
So, just focus on the present and the future.
How does teen love impact your lifeI think most here don’t just care about the pleasure you missed out but also about the influence not experiencing teen love has on your whole life, development, personality/behaviour etc.
he's like 4'8
Yep very well said, and like I said, missing out on it form's so much if your adult persona.I think most here don’t just care about the pleasure you missed out but also about the influence not experiencing teen love has on your whole life, development, personality/behaviour etc.
But generally I agree with you that it’s better to focus on the present moment and the future because the past is gone and you can’t change that no matter what
