There's a camera in front of her, so of course she's going to act nice. She has a drug addiction, and she's on the street. There's a high likelyhood that tons of dudes gave her chances, and she probably wreaked havoc and acted like a BPD psycho the moment she was taken in. Also, since she's a drug addict, she's probably stolen, had meltdowns, and backstabbed a lot of people. That's usually how it is with people in her situation. They are often given plenty of chances and blow it due to their dysfunctional mindset.
